Yes, you can leave your windows open while using your PRISM+ Air Purifier.

However, for the best air purification performance, we recommend keeping doors and windows closed whenever possible.

Air purifiers work by continuously filtering the air within a room.

When windows or doors are open:

As a result, the purifier may take longer to improve the air quality compared to a fully enclosed room.

Yes.

Your PRISM+ Air Purifier will continue filtering the air even when windows are open.

The difference is that the purifier may be processing a continuous flow of new particles entering from outside.

Think of it this way:

Room Condition	Air Purifier Performance
Windows closed	Most efficient
Windows partially open	Effective, but may take longer to improve air quality
Windows fully open	Continues filtering, but outdoor air may reduce overall effectiveness

For optimal performance, keep windows and doors closed when:

✓ Running the purifier for allergy relief

✓ Reducing dust and airborne particles

✓ Improving indoor air quality quickly

✓ During haze, smoke, or high-pollution conditions

✓ Using Auto Mode to maintain a specific air quality level

Opening windows may be beneficial when:

✓ Ventilating the room

✓ Reducing indoor odours

✓ Bringing in fresh outdoor air when air quality is good

✓ After cleaning or cooking

Your air purifier can continue operating normally during these situations.
