Why Is My PRISM+ Washer Making Loud Noises or Vibrating Excessively?

PRISM+ Support teamUpdated 4 August 2026~4 min remaining4 steps

If your PRISM+ washer is making loud noises or vibrating excessively during operation, it is usually caused by one of the following:

  • The washer is not level.
  • The adjustable feet are not properly set.
  • The washer is installed on an uneven surface.
  • The transport bolts have not been removed after installation.

Follow the troubleshooting steps below to resolve the issue.

Steps

  1. 1
    1 min

Ensure the washer is placed on a firm, flat, and stable surface.

If the floor is uneven, the washer may rock or vibrate during operation.

  2. 2
    1 min

Inspect the four adjustable feet underneath the washer.

    Adjust each foot until:

    • All four feet are firmly in contact with the floor.
    • The washer does not rock when gently pushed from the corners.
    • The appliance sits level on the floor.

Tip: Properly levelling the washer helps minimise noise and vibration during spinning.

  3. 3
    1 min

Transport bolts are installed to protect the washer during transportation.

    • If they have not been removed after installation, the washer may produce excessive vibration and loud noises.
    • Verify that all transport bolts have been removed before using the washer.

    1 min

    After completing the checks above:

    1. Run a short wash or spin cycle.
    2. Observe whether the noise or vibration has improved.
