Why Is My PRISM+ Washer Leaking Water?

PRISM+ Support teamUpdated 26 August 2026~4 min remaining4 steps

If your PRISM+ washer is leaking water, the most common causes are an incorrectly installed drain hose, water inlet hose, or detergent drawer.

Follow the troubleshooting steps below to identify and resolve the issue.

Steps

  1. 1
    1 min

Inspect the drain hose for the following:

    • Loose or disconnected hose connections.
    • Kinks or twists restricting water flow.
    • Cracks or visible damage to the hose.

If necessary, reconnect or straighten the hose before running another wash cycle.

Important: If you have replaced the original drain hose, ensure that a compatible hose has been installed. Using incompatible replacement parts may cause water leaks.

  2. 2
    1 min

Inspect the water inlet hose where it connects to both:

    • The water tap.
    • The rear of the washer.

    Ensure:

    • The hose connections are securely tightened.
    • There are no signs of leakage around the fittings.
    • The hose is not damaged or split.
  3. 3
    1 min

Remove the detergent drawer and inspect it for:

    • Detergent residue or blockages.
    • Overflow caused by excessive detergent.
    • Incorrect detergent placement.

Clean the drawer thoroughly before reinstalling it.

  4. 4
    1 min

    After completing the checks above:

    1. Run a short wash cycle.
    2. Observe where the water is leaking from.
    3. If no leakage is present, the issue has been resolved.
