Why Is My PRISM+ Dryer Leaking Water or Showing a Drainage Warning?

If your PRISM+ Dryer is leaking water or displaying a water tank/drainage warning, it is usually caused by one of the following:

  • The water tank is full and needs to be emptied.
  • The dryer is connected to a drain hose, and the water tank warning can be safely ignored.

Follow the troubleshooting steps below based on your installation.

 

Before You Begin

Steps

    Step 1: Remove the Water Tank

    • Carefully pull out the water tank from the dryer.

     

    Step 2: Empty the Water

    • Pour out all collected water from the tank.

     

    Step 3: Reinstall the Water Tank

    • Insert the tank fully back into the dryer until it is securely seated.

     

    Step 4: Reset the Dryer

    1. Turn the dryer OFF using the power button.
    2. Wait 1 minute.
    3. Turn the dryer ON again.
    4. Start a new drying cycle.

    If your dryer is connected to a drain hose:

    • The collected water is automatically discharged through the drain hose.
    • The water tank icon or drainage reminder can be ignored.
    • Simply start the drying cycle as normal.
