TV remote control not working
If your TV remote is unresponsive, not working properly, or you suspect it may be faulty, try the following troubleshooting steps:
Step 1: Manual Turn On
Try to power on the TV using the manual power button on the TV itself and see if it works.
Step 2: Try a Power Cycle
- Turn on the TV
- Unplug from the main power source
- Let it rest for at least 3 minutes
- Re-plug it back
- Turn on the TV
Step 3: Check the Batteries
- Replace both batteries with new, matching batteries
- Ensure the batteries are inserted with the correct polarity (+/-).
- Avoid mixing old and new batteries, or different brands.
*Try operating the remote from a closer distance or different angle too.
