Install the monitor arm onto your desk by following the instructions provided with your monitor arm.
Ensure:
- The desk clamp or grommet mount is fully secured.
- The arm does not move when gently pushed.
Before installing your monitor, ensure you have:
A compatible VESA monitor arm
The correct mounting screws (and spacers if required)
The supplied Hex/Allen key
A stable desk that supports monitor arm installation
Important: Do not install monitor arms on tempered glass or glass tabletops, as this may damage the desk and pose a safety risk.
Install the monitor arm onto your desk by following the instructions provided with your monitor arm.
Ensure:
If your monitor is still attached to its original stand:
Keep the original stand and screws in case you need them in the future.
Ensure all screws are tightened securely, but do not overtighten.
Carefully lift the monitor and attach the VESA plate to the monitor arm.
Once attached:
Tip: It is recommended to have a second person assist when mounting larger monitors.
Support the monitor with one hand while adjusting the monitor arm.
Raise or lower the monitor until it reaches your preferred viewing height.
Once positioned:
If the monitor slowly drops:
If the monitor is difficult to move upward:
Continue making small adjustments until the monitor moves smoothly and stays in position.
