Getting Started with Your PRISM+ Refrigerator

PRISM+ Support teamUpdated 17 August 2026~4 min remaining4 steps

Before You Switch It On

Before using your refrigerator for the first time:

  • Place the refrigerator on a flat, stable surface.

  • Leave enough space around the refrigerator for proper ventilation.

  • Remove all packaging materials and protective films.

  • Clean the interior with a soft cloth and warm water before use.

Important: If your refrigerator has just been delivered or moved, wait at least 4 hours before turning it on. This allows the refrigerant and compressor oil to settle properly after transportation, helping protect the cooling system.

Do note that:  The gasket may feel tighter especially when the fridge is new. Avoid pulling or stretching the gasket excessively, as this may damage the seal.

For the best food preservation, we recommend the following settings:

    Refrigerator: 3°C – 5°C

    Freezer: -18°C

After switching on the refrigerator, allow several hours for it to reach the desired temperature before storing large amounts of food.

    To maintain efficient cooling:

    • Allow space between food items for air circulation.
    • Avoid overfilling the refrigerator.
    • Store frequently used items where they are easy to access.
    • Keep raw meat separate from ready-to-eat food.

Proper airflow helps maintain a consistent temperature throughout the refrigerator.
