If you notice frost or ice build-up in your fridge or freezer, follow these steps:
- Clean the Interior
- Wipe off any water or ice build-up using a clean cloth.
- Dry Thoroughly
- After cleaning, make sure the interior is completely dry to prevent further moisture accumulation.
- Return Food Items
- Once the freezer has reached the correct temperature, place your food back in an organized manner.
- Check expiry dates and discard any spoiled items.
- Regular Maintenance
- Ensure the freezer door seals properly and isn’t damaged.
- Clean the interior and defrost periodically depending on ice accumulation.
- Avoid overfilling the freezer, as restricted airflow can increase ice formation.
