Can I Use My PRISM+ Smart Lock While the Battery Is Charging?

Yes. You can continue using your PRISM+ Smart Lock while the battery is charging.

If the battery is too low to operate normally, you can still access your home using one of the emergency access methods below.

If the Battery Is Low or Charging

You can continue accessing your lock by using either of the following methods:

Access MethodWhat to Do
Manual KeyUse the emergency key to unlock your door or gate manually.
Portable ChargerConnect a portable charger (power bank) to the charging port to temporarily power the lock, then unlock it using your authorised access method (such as your fingerprint or PIN code).

Both methods allow you to safely access your home while the battery is charging.

Yes. You can either: Use the manual key, or Connect a portable charger to temporarily power the lock and unlock it using your authorised access method.

Yes. The lock can still be accessed using the supported emergency access methods while the battery is charging.
