Yes! Most PRISM+ monitors are compatible with third-party monitor arms, provided they support the correct VESA mounting standard and can safely support your monitor's weight and size.

Before purchasing a monitor arm, we recommend checking your monitor's VESA mounting pattern and weight specifications.

What Is a VESA Mount?

A VESA mount is the standard mounting pattern found on the back of most monitors. It allows compatible monitor arms and wall mounts to be securely attached.

The most common VESA sizes are:

VESA Mount SizeCommon Monitor Sizes
75 × 75 mmSmaller monitors (typically 22"–27")
100 × 100 mmMost 27" monitors and larger

Refer to your monitor's product specifications to confirm the supported VESA size.

Before Using a Third-Party Monitor Arm

Ensure your monitor arm meets the following requirements:

RequirementRecommendation
VESA CompatibilityMatches your monitor's VESA pattern (75×75 mm or 100×100 mm)

Is Every PRISM+ Monitor Compatible?

Most PRISM+ monitors support VESA mounting.

However, some models may have different mounting specifications or require additional accessories.

To confirm compatibility, check:

  • Your monitor's product page
  • The user manual
  • The technical specifications listed for your model

Things to Check Before Installation

Before installing your monitor onto a third-party arm:

✅ Verify the VESA mounting size.

✅ Ensure the monitor arm supports your monitor's weight.

✅ Tighten all mounting screws securely.

✅ Confirm the arm has enough range of motion for your workspace.

Not always. The monitor arm must: - Support your monitor's VESA mounting pattern. - Be rated for your monitor's weight and size. Using an incompatible monitor arm may result in poor stability or damage.

Yes. PRISM+ offers monitor arms designed to be compatible with selected PRISM+ monitor models. You may also use compatible third-party monitor arms that meet the required specifications.

Some monitor models may not support direct VESA mounting. If your model does not include VESA mounting holes, it may require a compatible adapter (if available) or can only be used with its original stand. Refer to your monitor's product specifications or contact Customer Support to confirm compatibility.
